JMC Conventional Handle and JMC Sampling Tubes

Our JMC Conventional Handle fits a variety of soil sampling tubes. Each tube features a self-sharpening tip that outlasts common replaceable tips eight to one and pull consistently good cores.

We have 4 kinds of tubes to offer for this option:

Wet Sampling Tubes.

Work best in soft, moist soils. Core diameter is 0.688 inches.

Dry Sampling Tubes.

Work best in hard, dry soils. Core diameter is 0.75 inches.

Ag Consultant's Sampling Tube

Same design as the Dry Tubes, but produces a core diameter of only 0.56 inches.

Large Diameter Sampling Tube.

Same design as the Dry Tubes, but produces a core diameter of 1.2 inches.

• All tubes feature hardened cutting tips.
• All tubes available in 12 or 18 inch lengths.
• Wet and Dry tubes also available in a 15 inch length.
• Conventional Handle also compatible with JMC Zero Contamination Tubes.
• While Extensions may be added for more depth capability, you may be happier with a JMC Backsaver Handle.
