Groundwater Monitoring Wells

When excavating ground water monitoring wells, you need a quick way to create accurately sized holes, several feet deep, to accept casings and your monitoring device. We have three options.

 

Option One: JMC Professional Clay Auger System ($455-$1400)

  • Samples to 30 feet.
  • Creates a consistent 3.25 inch diameter hole.
  • Very portable.
  • Extensions may be Threaded or Quick Connect.

Option Two: JMC Professional Auger Kit ($1249-$2600)

  • Contains 4 different augers: General Purpose, Clay, Sand, and Mud.
  • Samples to 30 feet.
  • Creates a consistent 3.25 inch diameter hole.
  • Very portable.
  • Extensions may be Threaded or Quick Connect.
  • Includes very durable carrying case.

Option Three: JMC Environmentalist’s Sub-Soil Probe PLUS($2967-$7900)

  • Creates hole 1.625 inches in diameter.
  • Samples every soil that CAN be sampled by a hand operated device.
  • Samples to 20 feet or more with extensions.
  • Sample diameter: 1.2 inches.
  • Samples contained in clear PETG Copolyester liners
  • Sampling tube driven by manual or electric hammer.
  • Sample retrieved with foot operated jack.
