Product Description

We include this item with the purchase our 0.8 inch diameter PN151 and PN152 ESP Sampling Tubes. It is also included with the PN150 JMC Environmentalist's Sub-Soil Probe. Unless you have lost yours, you probably don't need this part. It seldom breaks. Sandwiched between the lower end of 0.8 inch sampling tube and its cutting tip, the core guide directs soil samples into the liner. Without it, clay samples have a tendency to crumple the plastic liners.

If you have lost yours, it is very much worth your while to replace your core guide. It will save you loads of aggravation from dealing with crumpled liners and sampling tubes jammed with immoveable soil samples.
