Warning: You must insert a clean liner inside this sampling tube before you sample. Failure to do so will cause the soil core to jam very tightly into the tube. Removing jammed samples from a tube this long is extremely labor intensive!

Sampling tube is driven by a 12.5 pound drop-hammer (or electric hammer) and retrieved with a foot-operated jack.
